Biography
William Henry Harrison Jellison was born May 14, of 1840 in South Berwick, Maine in the Chase-Jellison Homestead. During the Civil war he served as a Private, Enlisted in Company B, Maine 27th Infantry Regiment on 30 Sep 1862. Mustered out on 17 Jul 1863 at Portland, ME.[1] He sent letters home to his sister Eliza during the war. After the war he settled in Petrolia Pennsylvania and became an owner of an Inn with his wife. Gladys Hasty Carroll mentions him in her book Dunnybrook. He is buried in the family cemetery on Emery's Bridge Road.
